About Us

Brickyard Consulting LLC was founded in 2016 by David Wigglesworth to provide strategy and analysis services across the satellite telecommunications sectors.   The company is located in Northern Virginia, adjacent to Washington DC, which is home to many satellite companies and the Federal Communications Commission.

David’s expertise comes from over 30 years working in the satellite communications business for companies such as American Mobile Satellite (now Ligado), Orbcomm, Iridium, Inmarsat (now Viasat) and EchoStar.

David’s responsibilities included marketing, channel development, product and service development, business development, regulatory and spectrum, business planning, competitive analysis, financial modelling, distribution contract development, pricing and positioning.  This wide range of expertise enables David to have a well rounded view of the competitive landscape.
